A Jewish Expressive Arts Workshop Series for Teens and Adults
Description
The workshops explore the root words of Jewish concepts through a uniquely interactive online experience that integrates expressive arts-based practices, Jewish learning, and modern technology.
The workshops are a mix of structured online interactions and unstructured free time for artmaking, and the playful, judgment-free zone offers an opportunity to engage in a creative process with a community of Jewish learners of any age.

Objectives
By the end of the workshops, participants will be able to:
Gain a deeper understanding of the historical, spiritual, and modern-day interpretations of the Judaic concepts being explored
Create a piece of art in a self-selected medium (painting, drawing, writing, sculpting, movement, drama, etc.) related to the theme being explored
Nurture a sense of connection to the Jewish lens of the theme being explored and how it relates to their own lives
Experience a close-knit online community of creative Jewish learners
Visually and orally identify the Hebrew words related to the theme, along with their root and variations

• Workshops can be offered weekly, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, or for a set period
• Prices, themes, and number of sessions are all negotiable and intended to meet your organization’s needs
• The workshops can function as a series or as standalone sessions
• Group size: 6-18 participants
• Duration: 1.5-hrs
• For online sessions: Participants will need access to wi-fi, a web-browser, copy/paste capabilities, blank paper and writing utensils, and various personal art material
